Bobcat Manufacturing Engineering Co-op
Manufacturing engineering co-op at Bobcat. Two main workstreams: prototype build support for the L35 small articulated loader, and weld line optimization for the snowblower attachment line. The L35 work was early-stage — the first production-intent prototype after the initial mule — with no formal tooling yet. Wrote the initial standard work instructions for the L35, documenting every part number, installation method, and torque specification. Worked closely with the design team to ensure the manufactured assembly matched design intent, and participated in FMEA sessions to identify and mitigate assembly failure modes. On the snowblower weld line, conducted time studies across stations, identified cycle time imbalances, and redistributed weld tasks to level the line flow. The L35 has since launched as Bobcat's most powerful small articulated loader.
